Description
HK, CS, and GK were detected with Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated secondary antibody, H2B.V-Myc was detected with Alexa Fluor 555-conjugated secondary antibody, and DNA was stained with DAPI. Images were acquired using an Olympus BX51 fluorescence microscope equipped with a 100 × oil-immersion objective and controlled by Olympus cell^R software.
Z-stacks were acquired as sequential optical sections through the parasite body and deconvolved before visualization. Bright-field, Alexa Fluor 488, Alexa Fluor 555, DAPI, and merged channels are shown. Scale bars, 100 µm.</p> <p>(TIF)</p>
