Description
I created this file from SYSTAT file = LRS.SYS, which I created on 21 September 1989 I used this file for my first book, so I assume everything was checked TWO TIMES at creation Note on 18 Aug 1989 says "This file has been checked two times." This file only includes data form BTPDs that are known to have copulated at least once in their lifetimes. I have EXCLUDED BTPDs with 0 cops over their lifetimes, even if they survived for >=2 years.
Note well. This file contains data from BOTH SEXES. Sex = 1 = male, and sex = 2 = female For Fig 20.5, I only consider data from male BTPDS Male weanlings sired = number of males at 1st emergence sired over male's lifetime Female weanlings sired = number of females at 1st emergence sired over male's lifetime Weanling = juvenile at first emergence from natal burrow-entrance.

Yearling = weanling that survived for >=9 months after first emergence from natal burrow-entrance All BTPD paternities confirmed by electrophoresis. See Chapter 20 of Hoogland 2026 or details. These data used for Fig 20.5 in Hoogland 2026.

Note
This file includes information from copulations actually observed. Information from INFERRED cops is not included here. Standard errors were usually small, because my sample sizes for each age were large.
In some cases, I have shown SEM = 2.0 to show small SEMs that extend slightly beyond the circles— because showing slightly inflated SEMs is better than suggesting no variation at all, in my opinion.
