2020 Building Permit Listing

LISTING OF BUILDING PERMITS FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION, DEMOLITION AND ADDITIONS/ALTERATIONS/REPAIRS AND THEIR CHARACTERISTICS - Before 2009, files capture permits only for basic structural work.
Description
From 2009 onward, they also capture permits for plumbing, electrical, etc. This results in higher dollar figures and numbers of permits for Additions, Alterations and Repairs and for New Construction.
There is no change in how housing units are counted.
