UK Panel Radiator Heat Output Dataset: K-RAD, Stelrad & Scudo

# Mendeley Dataset Description This dataset compares standard UK panel convector radiators from K-RAD, Stelrad and Scudo using manufacturer-published heat output at ΔT50. Compiled and analysed by Find Cheap Radiators: findcheapradiators.com/ The master dataset contains 421 radiator records covering Type 11, Type 21, Type 22 and Type 33 configurations. A separate comparison file contains 64 exact like-for-like groups.
Products are only compared where radiator type, nominal height and nominal width match exactly. No nearest-size matching is used. Key findings:

- Median difference between the highest and lowest published ΔT50 output across exact matches: 5.24%.
- Largest observed difference: 11.79%.
- K-RAD recorded the highest published BTU output in 50 of 64 exact comparison groups.
- Stelrad led 14 groups.
- 10 comparison groups contain exact matches across K-RAD, Stelrad and Scudo.
- Radiator configuration can have a larger effect on heat output than changing brand. Retail prices and RRP are excluded because directly comparable pricing was not consistently available across all three manufacturers. Raw manufacturer values are retained separately from trusted analysis values. Two anomalous Stelrad records are retained for transparency but excluded from ranking calculations rather than being silently corrected. Files:
