Matched daytime carbon and water exchange at US forest towers during smoke-marked high aerosol loading

The data include 44,955 eligible candidate intervals, tower metadata, native REF and USTAR50 flux products, reference-threshold metadata, HMS annotations, and supporting optical and satellite coverage. The primary comparison contains 1,608 matched intervals; the common GPP comparison contains 1,413 intervals at 16 towers.

The code reselects low-optical controls and reproduces regional-year and photometer-day summaries, NT/DT product comparisons, radiation summaries, fixed-exposure weather comparisons, and descriptive sensitivity checks. Source flux datasets and their attribution DOIs are listed in the package. Dates use fixed local standard time.
