Dataset for: Life tables of Bactericera cockerelli at constant 5, 10, 15, 25 and 30ºC and two fluctuating temperatures in Ecuador

In each life table, 45 potato cuttings from INIAP - variety CIP Libertad were infested.. 4 adults were placed per cutting, which remained for 24 hours in the growth chamber. At the end of 24 h, the adults were removed with the help of an entomological aspirator and returned to the mother colony.

Oviposition was evidenced in the cuttings, which were marked with the help of indelible red and blue markers, thus having 2 eggs per cutting (30 individuals per repetition). There are 3 repetitions, in each repetition there are 15 cuttings in vials, 45 in total for each temperature and with a total of 90 individuals, the evaluation was daily, counting the number of days it takes to change from one phenological state to another. until each individual dies.
