Hij was toen nog scholier. Hij leidde een luxe leven.
Het leven van de geïnterviewde bestond uit allerlei gescheiden wereldjes, wat hij heel gewoon vond, maar niet van Nederland kende. De geïnterviewde vertelt over zijn werk bij Radio Republik Indonesia. Hij schetst een beeld van de situatie op de werkvloer.
