Automated Wreck and Obstruction Information System Data Files (AWOIS)

This series contains information on shipwrecks and obstructions and other significant charted features in the coastal waters of the United States. The data in this file includes the latitude and longitude of the wreck or object, a position accuracy code, a charted symbol code, and historic and descriptive information amassed from field observations and published sources.
