Description
Interference tests of the prescribed vortex phases in two projected fields. The video presents two separate interference measurements in which a plane-wave reference field interferes individually with two projected optical fields carrying prescribed vortex phase profiles.
The main view shows the interference between the plane-wave reference and the vortex-phase projection corresponding to Fig. 6(b) of the main text. The inset shows the interference between the plane-wave reference and the vortex-phase projection corresponding to the middle 0^∘-orientation pattern in Fig. 7. In the representative interference patterns, eight resolvable branches are observed around the phase singularity, matching the prescribed eighth-order vortex phase.

When the relative optical path length between the reference and projected fields is slightly varied, the bright and dark fringes exhibit a clear rotational evolution. Together, the eight-branch interference structures and their rotational evolution provide a quantitative check and dynamical corroboration of the prescribed vortex-phase encoding in both projected fields.
