Shortwave and Longwave Radiation Composite

This data set is composed of 30-minute averages of observations taken either at 20 seconds (SIROS, SIRS and MFR) or 60 seconds (BSRN); or hourly data (HPCN). The SIROS and SIRS data contains observations of Upwelling and Downwelling Longwave and Shortwave Irradiance.

The BSRN data has Downwelling Longwave and Shortwave; the MFR network contains Upwelling Longwave and Shortwave Irradiance; and the HPCN contains solar radiation equivalent to Downwelling Shortwave. These data were not quality controlled by the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research/Joint Office for Science Support (UCAR/JOSS).
