The Dutch Local Election Study 2016 has been an enterprise of the Foundation of Electoral Studies in The Netherlands (Stichting Kiezers Onderzoek Nederland; SKON).
Description
The Dutch Local Election Study of 2016 was the first in a series of local surveys carried out under the auspices of the Dutch Electoral Research Foundation (SKON). It functioned as benchmark for future waves, collected in a year without nation-wide local elections.
The first Dutch Local Election Study to coincide with elections would take place in 2018. The data were collected within the LISS-panel collected by CentERdata. Several variables have been excluded from the public data file in order to protect the privacy of individual respondents.
