Quantitative description of internal 3D structure of a geological sample using algebraic topology methods

Listed in Teesside University Research Data Repository

This data is a result of 3d X-mCT study of a real geological sample (meimechite from the Kontozero complex) and its analysis using Minkowski functionals.

Description

File 1 is the initial X-ray Computed Tomography pattern. Files 2-5 contain 4 phases (brightness levels, X-ray density levels) on the initial pattern.

They were separated by the multi-Otsu method. File 6 contains 3d scatterplots for each of the phases in the Minkowski functionals (M0-M1) volume.
