Description
The data covers the 2024 fire moratorium (starting in May 2024), a period during which a "State of Environmental Emergency" was declared due to climate conditions highly conducive to the spread of wildfires.
The methodology utilizes a Geographic Information System (GIS) environment for near-real-time detection. By leveraging multi-scale remote sensing data, the study delineates precise ignition polygons and the total extent of burned areas.
