The agency created and maintained this series to track the distribution, relative abundance, and life history characteristics of ecologically and economically important fishes and invertebrates in U.S. estuaries.
Description
This series contains records for 153 species of fish and invertebrates found in 122 estuaries and coastal embayments. The data includes numbers of each species, some of which are endangered, in different salinity zones during their five stages of life.
