This dataset comprises morphological data for two annelid species, the polychaete Glycera tridactyla Schmarda, 1861, and the sipunculan Phascolosoma (Phascolosoma) stephensoni (Stephen, 1942), obtained using micro-computed tomography (micro-CT).
Description
Several parameters related to the eversion mechanism of the pharynx in Polychaeta and the introvert in Sipuncula were estimated through two- and three-dimensional analyses of micro-CT datasets from specimens in different body configurations.
