Statue of a family group at Stanford University, ca.1900

In one of the 2 male figures holds a scroll reading "Dedicated to science and the good of humanity". The statue is situated on a stone base which is in the center of a walkway which passes through a grassy lawn.

Through the arches in a wall behind the statue, a brick building is visible. A sign on the building reads ..."Memorial Church, [...] in loving memory of my husband Leland Stanford".
