Replication Data for: Tapping into Excess Capacity: Chinese Machinery Export and African Industrialization

The package includes replication code, analysis-ready datasets, public-source inputs, execution logs, generated tables and figures, figure source files, and the LaTeX manuscript source. The README file provides software and hardware requirements, data source and availability information, and table-by-table and figure-by-figure replication instructions.

Some restricted raw inputs are not included because their licenses or confidentiality rules prohibit public redistribution. The code preserves the expected file paths for authorized users who have access to those restricted sources. Analysis-ready datasets are included to support replication review, subject to the restrictions described in the README.
