This dataset supports a systematic review on cultural skin practices that can be mistaken for abuse or dermatologic disease.
Description
It includes supplemental materials on cupping, coining, Gua sha, Cao Gio, moxibustion, and related practices. Files include the PRISMA flow diagram, search strategy, study characteristics, quality appraisal, outcome summaries, exemplar cases, clinical pearls, and representative images.
These materials are intended to help clinicians recognize patterned skin findings from traditional practices and avoid unnecessary testing, referrals, or misdiagnosis.
