Path loss data for UAV channel modeling

Listed in Teesside University Research Data Repository

This paper presents the data of Air to Ground (A2G) path loss for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV).

Description

The data collection process was carried out through simulations developed with the help of the Wireless Insite software that uses the full 3D ray-trace technique. The simulation was done for two types of areas: Uniform and Real areas.

The parameters of the unform area were selected according to The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) statistical model in its recommendation document (P.1410-2). The CADMAPPER website was used to generate the real area. The output data provides the total path loss, free space path loss, and the excess path loss.
