Siechnice Urban Development Preferences Survey 2025 – Replication Data

The survey was carried out in 2024 using a paper-and-pencil (PAPI) format administered by trained interviewers. The total sample comprises 384 adult residents.

The CBC experiment was designed to elicit residential preferences regarding urban development direction across five strategic dimensions: economic model, public investment priorities, residential development form, social policy focus, and environmental approach. Each respondent completed 12 choice tasks, selecting between two fully described development visions or opting out. In addition to the conjoint tasks, the survey collected data on respondents' daily activity locations across five domains (work or study, grocery shopping, leisure, non-grocery shopping, and socialising), which may be used to construct indicators of metropolitan functional orientation, as well as basic socio-demographic characteristics.
