121 compact extragalactic radio sources

We compared a sample of 121 compact extragalactic radio sources with a matching comparison sample of extended sources (ECS).
Description
The former consists of peaked-spectrum sources (PSS) and compact symmetric objects (CSOs). We analysed composite spectra, diagnostic line diagrams, spectral energy distributions, star formation indicators, morphologies, and cluster environments.
We found statistically significant differences between the two samples.
