Civic Education: State and U.S. Congressional Legislation Database

The Civic Education State and U.S. Congressional Legislation Database is maintained by the National Conference of State Legislatures Trust for Representative Democracy. This database allows users to track legislation related to civic education. Topics include, but are not limited to: civic education, youth voting, voting age, public education, primary election, general election, and voter registration.

User Functionality Users can search state legislation related to civic education by keyword, year, primary sponsor, and bill status (i.e., active, inactive, adopted, vetoed). Users can view summaries of state legislation. Data
