The Contribution of Recreational Farms to the Outdoor Education in Elementary Schools

This study is an inter-disciplinary research including both recreational management and agricultural development studies. The researchers surveyed elementary teachers who took place outdoor educational programs in Taiwan recreational farms.

The results from this study show that the resource in Taiwan recreational farms can achieve the goals of outdoor education, provide safe environment for outdoor education, and also help elementary teachers to plan a better quality of outdoor educational curriculums.
