XDA28060200 Agricultural Phenology Monograph

Listed in ScienceDB

This book focuses on the research on the relationship between climate change and agricultural phenology.

Description

From a geographical perspective, it presents, for the first time and in a relatively systematic manner, the phenological change trends of nine crops (wheat, corn, rice, soybean, cotton, sorghum, millet, rape, and peanut) in China over a certain historical observation period. It clarifies the differences in the sensitivity of crop phenology to changes in key climate factors and the spatiotemporal differentiation patterns.

It quantitatively distinguishes the impacts of climate change and human management measures on the phenological changes of crops. It systematically evaluates the individual contributions, comprehensive effects, and spatial differences of climate change and human management measures to the phenological changes of the nine crops in China. This book can provide decision-making references for relevant departments of the state and local governments in formulating policies, and can also be used by experts and scholars in the fields of geology, agriculture, meteorology, ecology, and environmental science, or graduate students, for their research work or study.
