Escherichia coli concentrations and physico-chemical measurements at the outlet of 29 catchments of the Mekong river basin, Lao PDR, during dry and rainy seasons (2016)

This dataset has been collected thanks to the long-term partnership with Department of Agricultural Land Management (DALaM), Lao PDR, which granted the permission for field access, and to the financial, scientific, technical, and/or logistical support of the Multiscale TROPIcal CatchmentS (SNO M-TROPICS; mtropics.obs-mip.fr/) critical zone observatory (previously MSEC). This .csv dataset includes Escherichia coli concentrations (MPN 100 mL-1) with upper and lower limits of the confidence interval, and physico-chemical measurements in stream water.

Physico-chemical measurements include temperature (°C), electrical conductance (µS cm-1) at 25 °C, dissolved oxygen concentration (mg L-1) and saturation (%), pH (-), oxidation-reduction potential (mV), turbidity (NTU), suspended sediment concentration (g L-1). All variables were measured at the outlet of 29 catchments of the Mekong river basin, in Lao PDR, during both dry and rainy seasons of 2016.
