Electric Generator Annual Report Files

The agency used the files to produce publications, to monitor the current status and trends of the electric power industry, and to evaluate the future of the industry. This series contains data derived from Energy Information Administration Form 860, Annual Electric Generator Report.

This series contains generator level data tha t includes specific information about generators in electric power plants owned and operated by electric utilities and nonutilities (including independent power producers and combined heat and power producers). The files include generator-specific information such as initial date of commercial operation, generating capacity, and energy sources. This data comprises government records extracted from the Archival Research Catalog (ARC).
