Replication Data for: Interpretable models for BI-RADS malignancy classification on ultrasound

A total of 802 independent annotations are provided, including lesion shape, margin, orientation, echogenicity, posterior acoustic features, calcifications, special cases, and BI-RADS assessment categories. The original ultrasound images were obtained from the Breast Cancer Dataset (BCD) published by Rodrigues et al. in Data in Brief (2019).

This repository does not redistribute the original images; it provides the structured BI-RADS descriptors generated from those images and linked to the corresponding cases. An ultrasound image may have more than one tumour described. These annotations were created as part of the study "Interpretable models for BI-RADS malignancy classification on ultrasound" (Carrilero-Mardones et al., under review, International Journal of Intelligent Systems).
