Description
All sensory tests taken at the medial knee, ankle and elbow. One practice followed by 3 repetitions at each site.
Randomised site order. Pressure pain threshold tested using a digital algometer and standard method of limits. Standard instructions to press the hand held switch when pressure changed to painful pressure.

Cold pain and heat pain thresholds tested using a peltier thermode and standard method (baseline 32˚C, increase or decrease at 1˚C per second). Instructions to press the hand-held switch when the sensation changed to painful cold or painful heat.
