Experimental data for assessing sensitivity degradation in Force Sensing Resistors

Listed in Teesside University Research Data Repository

Data reports output voltages when testing FlexiForce sensors under cyclic loading conditions.

Description

This was done to assess sensitivity degradation using: a) An inverting-amplifier circuit. b) A voltage divider circuit. The FlexiForce sensors were tested with circuits a) and b) at multiple sourcing voltages (1.25V; 2.5V; 5V; 7.5V). 16 Specimens of each sensor model were tested at the aforementioned conditions.

Data in the files are organized as follows: Column 1 through 3: Internal use, do not provide valuable information Column 4: Nominal force applied to the sensors. It was used to close the force loops using load cell measurements in the test bench. Column 5: Output voltage from Sensor 1 Column 6: Instantaneous force applied to the sensor at the moment of measuring.
