<p>To evaluate whether the findings were influenced by acquisition sites, we harmonized intrinsic timescale estimates across study sites using CovBat-GAM.
Description
Age effects (i.e., partial <i>R</i><sup>2</sup>) were highly consistent before and after site harmonization. Each data point in the scatter plots represents a brain region from the Schaefer 400 atlas.
The data points are colored based on their rankings on the S–A axis. <i>r</i><sub>s</sub> denotes Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient. Significance was assessed using 10,000 spin tests. Linear regression lines are added for visualization purposes only.
