Data for Hydrodynamic Loss Analysis in the Interlobe Clearance of Liquid-Injected Screw Machines

This dataset contains the numerical data used to generate the figures for a study on hydrodynamic losses in the interlobe clearance of liquid-injected screw machines.
Description
The data include dimensionless operating maps for the generalized friction number, Sommerfeld number and interlobe flow number, as well as dimensional loss-power data as a function of tip speed, lubricant viscosity and pressure ratio. In addition, the dataset contains rotor-flank profile data for the investigated profile variants.
These include a uniformly surface-normal retracted profile and targeted modifications designed to shift the effective engagement region towards the pitch point or the tip-circle region. The profile data are provided as coordinate tables of the modified flanks. The geometric parameters of the reference rotor pair and the rack-profile settings used to generate the profiles are documented separately in the related publication.

The dataset is intended to support the reproducibility of the published figures and to provide reference data for comparison with reduced-order clearance-flow models or future lubrication-film simulations of screw-machine interlobe clearances.
