Rapid assessment survey of faunal diversity of Buxa Tiger Reserve, India West Bengal, during end of the winter period in 2024

In the month of February 2024, the students of the Environmental Science, of Adamas University (India) accompanied by the faculty members went to Buxa Tiger Reserve in Raja Bhat-khawa (Alipurduar District, West Bengal, India) for an excursion organised by the Nature Mates Nature Club.
Description
Field survey was conducted to study the habitat, behavioral patterns, flight process and other activities of the local birds, butterflies and other animal species in the area.
Careful and meticulous observations of the faunal species were recorded over the course of the field days and were noted down with specific real time environmental parameters.
