Production of high value carbon nanotubes from thermal catalytic conversion of waste plastics

This paper reports the development of high-yield carbon nanotube catalysts for the thermochemical conversion of waste plastics from the perspective of industrial-scale production. Because the catalyst is not only related to the yield of carbon nanotubes, but also to the purity and uniformity of carbon nanotubes.

This research focuses on the development of catalysts, so that higher yields, higher homogeneity, and simpler purification of the produced carbon nanotubes can be achieved, thereby promoting the potential commercial large-scale production of plastic carbon nanotubes.<br><br><i>Thesis embargoed until 31 July 2027</i>
