Description
INDICATOR DEFINITION The composition of the outflow from the Australian Antarctic Division's stormwater system. TYPE OF INDICATOR There are three types of indicators: 1.Describes the CONDITION of important elements of a system; 2.Show the extent of the major PRESSURES exerted on a system; 3.Determine RESPONSES to either condition or changes in the condition of a system.
This indicator is one of: PRESSURE RATIONALE FOR INDICATOR SELECTION The information provided from these analyses is used as a guide in assessing the impact of the Australian Antarctic Division's impact on the local environment. DESIGN AND STRATEGY FOR INDICATOR MONITORING PROGRAM Site: Humeceptor traps at the AAD, Kingston Tasmania. Frequency: Annual measurements Measurement Technique: Samples are taken from each of the humeceptor traps before entry into Coffey Creek.
