All UPD data here are from the Horse Corral Colony at Bryce Canyon National Park All data here are from aboveground infanticides. Details of the UPD study-colony are in Chapters 4, 11, and 21. A parturient female is a female that recently gave birth.

At the Horse Corral Colony every year, all the adults and yearlings of both sexes were eartagged and marked with Nyanzol fur dye These data used for Fig 21.1 in Hoogland 2026. This file ready for longterm storage on 15 April 2025. I considered data from the same prairie dog in different years to be independent.
For BTPDs, I could record infanticides that occurred underground (most common) and also infanticides that occurred aboveground. For UPDs, I could record only infanticides that occurred underground. For BTPDs, I could record both whole-litter and partial-litter infanticides.
