Pollen profiles at site Friesack 4, Havelland, Brandenburg, Germany

In some cases it has to remain unclear whether different names mean different pollen types or not. A special problem is the designation of the Cereal Type pollen. Sometimes they are taken down as "Getreide" (Cereals), sometimes as Getreide-Typ (Cereal-Type), sometimes as "Getreideartige" ("like Cereals"), sometimes simply as "große Poaceae" (large Poaceae).

I decided to transfer everything to PANGAEA exactly like Klaus Kloss took it down. From two profiles, samples were apparently taken upside down. This mistake was certainly noticed by Klaus Kloss when counting the samples, but not corrected in the counting records.

Concerned are the profiles PFr_78-3.9 and PFr_4 from Trench A. This mistake was not revised for the PANGAEA datasets, so any user has to take care with these two profiles.
