The workbook also contains a README and metadata sheet describing the contents and variables of each sheet. The accompanying code archive contains R and MATLAB scripts used to reproduce the main statistical analyses, summary tables and figure outputs associated with the dataset. The R workflow reads directly from the curated workbook and reproduces assemblage-composition analyses, PERMANOVA and PCoA, targeted pairwise comparisons and SIMPER, diversity and assemblage-structure mixed-effects models, dominant-species bubble plots, functional-group summaries, taxonomic density and biomass plots, model-derived zoobenthic carbon-proxy analyses, and supplementary biological figures.

It also includes the sampling-completeness analyses added during peer review, comprising sample-based species-accumulation curves, Chao1 and Chao2 richness estimators, abundance- and incidence-based sample coverage, and marginal R² estimates for the final mixed-effects models. MATLAB scripts are provided for the oceanographic plotting workflows.
