Replication Data for: Fig 21.2, BGUW, Infanticides vs colony-density, all four species considered together, 18 June 2026

For all four species, colony density (BTPDs, UPDs, and WTPDs) and density of study area (GPDs) were for MAY So, I did NOT count prairie dogs that were present in March and April, but not May If a prairie dog was alive for any part of May, I count him or her for this file However, I deleted a dog that disappeared in "early May" Colony density = number of adult prairie dogs (including yearlings) per hectare. Partur fem = parturient female = female that gave birth When I re-do the statistics for this EXCEL dataset on 18 July 2026, I get P = 0.004.

I do not understand the discrepancy between P = 0.004 (from today, 18 July) and P = 0.007 (from 25 June 2020. I will not try to resolve this small difference, and I use P = 0.007 for Fig 21.2 of Hoogland 2026.
