Effects of exogenous organic material addition on organic carbon fractions and their stability in lithium slag-based artificial soil
Listed in ScienceDB
This dataset is named "The Effect of Organic Materials and Biological Stimulating Agents on the Accumulation and Stabilization Characteristics of Organic Carbon in Lithium Mica Slag Matrix".
Description
It mainly records the changes in the physicochemical properties, organic carbon components, enzyme activity, ecological enzyme stoichiometry, microbial biomass carbon, and microbial carbon utilization efficiency of lithium mica slag matrix under different gradients of organic materials and biological activating agents.
The data generation process is as follows: The substrate used in this study is lithium mica slag, and woody peat and organic fertilizer are used as external organic carbon input materials. Three levels of organic material addition are set at 0.5%, 1.0%, and 1.5%, and two levels of biological activators are not added or added, as well as a blank control. A total of seven experimental treatments are conducted.

Indoor cultivation experiments are carried out, and samples are collected after 6 months of cultivation in a constant temperature incubator at 25 ℃. After removing impurities and stones, pass through a 2 mm sieve, and store a portion fresh at 4 ℃ for microbial biomass and enzyme activity determination, while the other portion is air dried for soil physicochemical property determination. The dataset is stored in tabular form, with row labels representing each processing group and column labels representing each measurement indicator.
The specific indicators and meanings are as follows: Soil physical and chemical properties include pH (measured by a pH meter with a water soil ratio of 2.5:1), organic carbon SOC (g/kg), total nitrogen TN (g/kg), and total phosphorus TP (g/kg); Microbial biomass includes microbial biomass carbon MBC (mg/kg), microbial biomass nitrogen MBN (mg/kg), microbial biomass phosphorus MBP (mg/kg), and their stoichiometric ratios (such as SOC: TN, SOC: TP, MBC: MBN, MBC: MBP, no class).
Soil enzyme activities include β - glucosidase BG, cellulase CBH, leucine aminopeptidase LAP, β - N-acetylglucosidase NAG, and alkaline phosphatase AKP, all measured in nmol · g ⁻¹· h ⁻¹. Vector Length (representing carbon limitation degree, without class size) and Vector Angle (degree °, representing nitrogen and phosphorus nutrient limitation, angle>45 ° indicates phosphorus limitation,<45 ° indicates nitrogen limitation) are calculated based on enzymatic stoichiometry; Microbial carbon utilization efficiency CUE (no class size, range 0-1). This dataset contains one data file in the standard. xlsx format, which can be directly read and processed using Microsoft Excel and WPS software.
The file content is divided into two main sheets: (1) Soil chemical properties: including treatment types, all soil chemical property indicators, microbial biomass carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus, and ratios; (2) Hydrolase activity: including 5 enzyme activities, enzyme stoichiometry, vector length, vector angle, and microbial carbon utilization efficiency (CUE).
