Abstract

Ceratostylis wanrosdyi is described and illustrated as a new species from the mossy montane forest of Cameron Highlands, Malaysia. This epiphytic orchid is characterised by its peduncles, which are nearly as long as the leaves, and an entire, oblong-lanceolate labellum. Although the new species resembles C. radiata and C. pulchella in having white flowers, it can be distinguished by its peduncle length and labellum morphology.

A detailed taxonomic description, figures, comparisons with closely related species, and a revised identification key to the species of Ceratostylis in Peninsular Malaysia are provided.
