<p>Predicted Singles PPE, Doubles PPE, and Total PPE were obtained from player-year models in which centred year was modelled using a natural cubic spline with three degrees of freedom and interacted with elite status.
Description
The COVID-disrupted seasons 2020–2021 were excluded from model fitting. Models were adjusted for age and discipline-specific competitive event exposure, with cluster-robust standard errors at the player level.
Predictions were generated at age 16 years and at median covariate values of 8 singles competitive event entries, 7 doubles competitive event entries, and 15 total competitive event exposures, respectively, and are displayed on the back-transformed log1p scale with 95% confidence intervals<b>.</b></p>
