Eddy covariance flux and meteorological dataset for Matara, Sri Lanka

Numerous observations have been conducted in various locations of radiation, atmospheric fluxes, and basic meteorological elements; however, few research teams have collected and published such data for south Sri Lanka. Our study bridges this gap and presents radiation, turbulence, and basic meteorological datasets collected at the Ruhuna observation site on the southern coast of Sri Lanka.

The datasets contain multiple variables, including net radiation, net longwave radiation, net shortwave radiation, surface wind, air temperature, relative humidity, precipitation, sensible heat flux, latent heat flux, and momentum flux. The data were collected from April 11, 2017 to September 2, 2018, with the atmospheric turbulence flux data covering the period from March 23, 2017 to April 16, 2017.
