IAI-Data-CRN_012_Marchesini_Clim: Climate conditions during the massive flowering and death of the bamboo Chusquea culeou

We proposed to assess the impact of this event on: a) the environmental factors and b) the population dynamics of forest vegetation. We recorded air and soil temperature, relative air humidity and light intensity under two conditions: death and green bamboo.

We also registered the survirvoship, growth and herbivory rates on Nothofagus nervosa, a canopy dominant tree and Chusquea culeou seedlings. We recorded air temperature, relative air humidity and light intensity using Hobo Loggers(model H8 family), in two conditions: green bamboo and dead bamboo. We launched the sensors to take 1 measure by hour.
