ChIP-seq analysis of rat pancreatic cells treated with IL-1beta

Listed in NCBI GEO

Autoimmune diseases such as Type 1 Diabetes are characterized by overactive inflammatory signaling pathways.

Description

This study investigates how the pro-inflammatory cytokine interleukin-1-beta (IL-1beta) elicits changed gene expression in pancreatic beta-cells. Here we profile genomic DNA binding of transcription factor p65/RelA and RNA Polymerase II in response to IL-1beta in 832/13 cells.

This cell line is derived from INS-1 cells, a pancreatic insulinoma model for insulin-secreting beta-cells.
