A dataset for plasma treatment on CF/PAEK adherend for aerospace adhesive joining

Also shown are the simulated and experimental load-displacement curves, and the simulated damage distribution in the mechanical testing of the adhesive joints. These complementary measurements establish a basis for analyzing the process–surface–interface–property relationship and elucidating plasma-induced activation and adhesion-enhancement mechanisms.

The simulations can predict the failure modes and strength of the adhesive joints, providing calibration and validation benchmarks for numerical analyses of interfacial stress transfer and joint failure. The dataset supports multivariate analysis, predictive modeling, plasma-treatment optimization, bond-quality assessment, and simulation-based evaluation of new-generation PAEK composites for aerospace structures.
