Dataset: Spatial metrics in the analysis of the dynamics of urban landscape patterns in Mangaluru, India

The spatial metrics were calculated for 8 directions from the central business district of the study area for the year 1972, 1990, 2000 and 2018. The research intends to comprehend the spatial configurations of the built-up patches in the study area using spatial metrics.

The excel tables provide the unstructured output data from the Fragstats program. These tables can be used to get insights into the data out from the program and the class descriptor files can be used as a reference to understand and prepare land use and land cover class descriptors of the respective study area.
