A data-driven evaluation of chitosan, clybio and Paraburkholderia synergy for improving yield and biochemical traits of onion (Allium sepa L.)

This data file describes the impact of integrated foliar application of chitosan, clybio and Paraburkholderia fungorum on plant growth, bulb yield, biochemical properties and functional attributes in onion under fluctuating subtropical weather conditions. Chitosan (100 and 200 ppm), clybio (a yeast and Bacillus blend at 0.5%) and Paraburkholderia fungorum BRRh-4 (1.5 × 10^9 CFU/mL) were applied eleven combinations plus a control (no bio-agents) following a randomized complete block design with three replications.

Data were recorded on 21 parameters related to vegetative, reproductive, biochemical, nutritional and mineral properties of onion. Further, statistical analysis and graphical representation confirmed the superior treatment for improving yield and quality of onion under such challenging environments.
