The optimal design of the elastic structure of a six-axis force/moment sensor

The numerical shape-optimization technique of this study is a synthesis of a sequential quadratic programming (SQP) algorithm and finite element method (FEM) implemented interactively and automatically.
Description
The SQP algorithm is coded in MATLAB® 9.1- R2016b. Additionally, to find out the scalar value of optimzation equations, numerical modeling based on finite element analysis is employed.
For this purpose, an input file of commands is created in the ANSYS Parametric Design Language (APDL). Original data of this study including Iteration history of numerical-shape optimization process and the plot data (Objective function values f1(X) and f2(X) and maximum constraint violations) are available.
