In recent weeks, an interview was undertaken with a distinguished 87-year-old native Garifuna speaker, notable for their profound mastery of the Garifuna language.
Description
The primary objective of this engagement was to present the individual with a compilation of words extracted from 16 academic works originally composed in Garifuna, specifically to validate the identified lexical elements. Subsequent to this stage, audio recordings were generated, featuring the native speaker enunciating these words in Garifuna.
