Dataset and python code for "Widespread spring discharge drives major water-salt-heat fluxes in salt marshes"

The Dataset includes two sheets, showing the properties of all springs (position, area, temperature difference, and elevation) recognized by UAV-based thermal infrared imaging during winter 2023 and summer 2024, respectively.
Description
Data were collected from six tidal creeks along the muddy coast of Jiangsu Province, East China, including Dafeng Port (DFP), North Chuandong 1 and 2 (NCD1 and NCD2), South Chuandong (SCD), and Jianggang 1 and 2 (JG1 and JG2).
The repository also contains two Python scripts developed for UAV thermal-image processing. One script extracts the geographic coordinates of spring outlets from thermal imagery using image metadata and UAV positioning information, while the other identifies spring-associated thermal anomalies and calculates spring vent areas through image segmentation and region-growing analysis.
